Christmas 2009

After a 5 1/2 hour drive we fianlly made it to Wichita Falls. Michael and Katelyn were soooooo sweet!! They waited all day long to open presents so that we could do it as a family. I had to praise them for that selfless act because most their age would NOT have waited. We walked in the door to mimi and poppi's at 6pm. We ate a wonderful meal and then opened presents. We really missed seeing our grammy, grampy, and the entire family this year. Next year we will be starting a new tradition at our house. We hope that the family will come visit.

Grammy and Grampy came in town to visit this weekend. We had a lot of fun. Before they left we went outside to play in the leaves.

Happy Halloween!!

We had a good Halloween. We went to church and then went to a Halloween cookout. It was fun but I only lasted about 1 hour. My parents had to take me home at 7:30 because I wasn't cooperating very well. I came home ate a small bite and went to bed.

My Halloween party at Primrose was so much fun. I dressed up as superman and I ate some yummy treats!! I didn't know what to do with the cupcake, but I sure knew what to do with the cookie!

My 1st haircut at Cool Cuts for Kids

Well mom says I'm offically a "little boy" now. I'm no longer a baby. Today was my first haircut and it was fun. I got to play with Thomas the Train while I was in the waiting room. Then when I went back to get my hair cut, I got to sit in this cool firetruck. I also got to watch a show while the lady was cutting my hair.

We went to the patch last week and Cade had so much fun pushing the ginormous pumpkins around!

18 month well visit

The first pic is Cade making his "If your happy and you know it" face!! Cade had his 18 month well checkup and the Dr. says he is growing well. He weighs 28lbs and is 34.5 inches tall. Most places around here are out of the flu shot so he hasn't had one yet.

18 months

Everyday we are just amazed by the sweetness of our wonderful baby boy. I prayed for him..begged and pleaded. After 3 long yrs. of heartache God answered my prayers. I have come to understand that my timing and God's timing on things usually don't match up.

In the pictures above Daddy is trying to button Cade's pjs and Cade is giggling as he tries to get away. The second pic, Cade decided he needed to rest is head on the soft side of his Leap Frog. (He went to bed about 10minutes after pic was taken. ) The 3rd pic is my favorite. I was singing If Your Happy and You Know Than your Face will surely show it...and Cade put his index on his face and moved his head from side to side.

Cade was putting his friends to bed. It was so cute..he put the little mice in a bed, covered them up, patted their back, and said shh..shh..shh!! (Guess he's heard that a time or two!!) My heart melted just watching him do all of this.
